The SKY Digital TV LINK system allows the viewer to control the digital satellite receiver or Digibox from any room in the house which has a TV with an aerial tap. The TV LINK is the only remote control extender that is 100% compatible with digital satellite television.

To distribute the pictures, the TV LINK utilises the "extend remote control" feature incorporated in the digital receiver to control the receiver from any room in the house. The Remote Eye is simply placed on top of the television set in that room and relays signals back to the digital receiver in the main room. The TV LINK unit is connected to the cable running from the digital receiver into the TV's aerial socket.

Global 2 and 4-way distribution amplifiers (LPS Codes SE00160-SE00161) are the only distribution amplifiers which are 100% compatible with the Remote Eye system. Global diplexers (LPS Codes SE00112 and SE00142) are also compatible with the system. The SKY Digital remote control allows 100% control of the digital receiver, including all future interactive services, from any room in the house. It is a universal remote control, thus replacing the existing remote controls in the other rooms of the house.
